Team Wlody's 2nd Annual 12 Mile Ride For Hugs For Mito

Updated: Jan 7, 2020

We love you Michael Goldberg!!

Today was Team Wlody's 2nd annual "12 Mile Michael Goldberg Ride"- to raise funds for Michael, and to spread awareness for Mitochondrial Disease and Rare Disease!!

We gathered some of our superhero friends, donning our MITO tees -to ride on the Long Beach Boardwalk.

They came together on this rainy day, in the spirit of love and generosity- each donating and spending their Friday morning with us!!

We thank these very special people here, (Ken Podziba, Louis F. Lotito, Michael Wlody) along with our wonderful, extremely generous clients and friends who also wanted to help- Joe V., Duke Morrison, Lucy Keefer, Joe Gulino Sr., Guy Thomas, and Regina a volunteer from Seaside) for the enthusiastic response to this covert mission!!!

Surprise Michael!!! This is for you, because you have touched our lives with your strength, humor and dedication in fighting Mito, raising funds, and championing the cause for adults and babies alike!! #hugsformito

You are simply our hero!!! 😊😊❤️

Phase 2 of our Michael Goldberg fundraiser/bike ride:

Mission: drive up to Massachusetts to surprise Michael (with Judi's help) to visit and to deliver our "funds", big check, and a gift.

We mounted the Mito-tee and rubber bracelets that rode with us on our (23,783.1 miles in 153 days) cycling journey with the National Bike Challenge, to commemorate our dedication to our special friends!

What we got in return was the most beautiful day spent with these inspiring, talented, funny and gracious people.

This is a day we will never forget!

We are so lucky to have you in our lives, Michael, Judi (and Andrew)!

We are driving home with the biggest smiles!

We love you!! 😊😊❤️
