Proceeds to “benefit” HUGS FOR MITO and these two other extremely fortunate, nonprofit charities, Women’s Lunch Place and Embrace a Family.

We were thrilled to have been chosen alongside these other amazing charities and wanted this years PHCC’s event to be its best EVER! Guess what, it was! WE appreciate everyone's support of US, Hugs For Mito, Mitochondrial Disease and Rare Disease.

Is Mitochondrial Disease and Rare Disease ADVOCACY, AWARENESS and FUNDRAISING for research, trials and hopefully a cure!

Our goal is to touch as many lives as possible and in the most positive light.

We educate the world as to what Mitochondrial Diseases and Rare Diseases are and what these diseases do to the individuals afflicted with them.

We want to raise awareness of Mitochondrial Diseases and Rare Diseases domestically and internationally while fostering goodwill.

We want to improve the quality of life for babies, children, young adults and adults battling Mitochondrial Diseases and Rare Diseases.

We want to empower caregivers and provide appropriate resources and support.

We support Dr. Amel Karaa. Research, trials and hopefully cures for Mitochondrial Diseases and Complex (Rare Diseases).

We hold events, sell sweatshirts, sweatpants, tee shirts, our book (I’ll Have Mine Rare) and much more in support of her efforts to cure Mitochondrial Diseases and Complex (Rare Diseases) for the Mitochondrial and Rare Disease Communities!

It’s our honor and privilege! 100% goes back to Mitochondrial Disease and Rare Disease.
